All about Bree
Hi!!! My name is Breeanna Michelle White. I was born and raised in sunny San Diego, California by my three awesome parents. I lived with my mom and step dad throughout high school but saw my dad regularly. I graduated from Rancho Bernardo high school in 2004. I attended California State University, Chico and graduated in the Fall of 2008. While at Chico I recieved a scholership for track and field untill I tore all the ligaments in my ankle and was not longer able to compete. As a senior I played for the club volleyball team at Chico state and we finished in the final four at nationals. I am the oldest of 4 girls in my family. I am 24 years old, my sister Brigjette is 23, Kelley is 22 and Katie is 20 years old. My parents definiatly had their hands full! I have three dogs (all boys of course) named KC, Chico, and Rascall. I enjoy surfing, snowboarding, wakeboarding and just about any sport I can get my hands on. I want to Become a Physical Education and health teacher for high school students when i complete the credential program.
I am not a computer person at all. When I was 10 years old I had a tramatic experience where I lost my entire project the day it was due, and ever since then I've had an aversion to computers. I am a PC user but I find myself liking Mac more and more. On a daily basis I use my cell phone to go on twitter or facebook, check my emal and browse youtube. I do own a laptop but it seems to break down more then it works and this has also left a bad taste in my mouth. I am currently using windows 2007 for my pc but I also have windows 2003.
The California State University, San Marcos mission statment exeplifies what an effective teacher should be. I beleive that all teachers should strive to be lifelong learners because socity is always changing and teachers should give their students the most current information possible. I also like the fact that the mission statement strive for inclusion of all students. I beleive that all children can benefit from an education and should be given the opportunity to learn.
